Shaping Syros clay

In Apano Meria, as well as in the heart of Ermoupoli, ceramics become a journey into both the tradition and the contemporary creativity of Syros. Through thematic workshops, open to beginners and advanced participants alike, you learn to shape clay inspired by the archaeological finds of Kastri and Chalandriani.

On the table, pieces of clay wait to become something—a cup, a plate, a story… You give them form with your hands and soon feel the soil of Syros becoming part of your own creation. During the break, you sit with the group to taste local delicacies.
